It is important to inform your dermatology provider of any medical conditions you may have along with any medications you may be taking.

This medication has an expiration or beyond use date. Do not use this medication after the date listed on the bottle.

If you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding do not use your formula if it contains sulfacetamide.

Please inform your medical provider of all allergies, including allergies to ingredients that may be in the Body CleanseRx. These may include:

  • Sulfacetamide

  • Zinc Pyrithione

  • Salicylic Acid

If you’re allergic to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), like aspirin and ibuprofen, avoid using salicylic acid.

If your Body CleanseRx contains salicylic acid, you should discuss the use of your personalized cleanser with your in-person medical provider if you’re using other salicylates or drugs that can increase salicylate serum concentration, including aspirin, or if you have a history of kidney disease or liver disease. In general, salicylic acid should be avoided by those younger than 18 years old who have viral illnesses.

If you have a sulfa or sulfonamide allergy or a history of kidney disease, avoid using sulfacetamide.

Products containing sulfacetamide may become yellow or orange over time. The effectiveness of your product remains the same, even if color changes occur.

The Body CleanseRx is not recommended for use in patients younger than 13 years of age.

Skin irritation may occur as a side effect of this medication. This can include burning, stinging, inflammation, skin peeling, dryness, redness, itching, and increased sensitivity to the sun. Please contact your medical provider if this occurs.

To reduce the risk of skin irritation, avoid other products that may irritate the skin. This includes the use of abrasive soaps, exfoliants, and related chemicals or obtaining treatments including but not limited to waxing and electrolysis.

Do not use this medication if an allergic reaction to this medication occurs. Signs of an allergic reaction may include rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; and swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. Contact your medical provider if you experience any of these symptoms. If you develop flu-like symptoms with a painful rash that blisters, stop using your personalized cleanser and see your in-person medical provider right away.

Please tell your provider if:

  • You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to get pregnant.

  • You have had any allergic reactions to skin care products.

  • If you have been diagnosed with Rosacea.

  • If you have a history of eczema, perioral dermatitis, skin cancer, or other skin conditions.

This treatment was designed to be used once or up to twice daily. It was designed to be used as a rinse-off cleanser. Do not use more than your medical provider has instructed you to use. Do not swallow and avoid sensitive areas such as eyes, lips, and inside your mouth/nose. Do not use on cuts, scrapes, damaged (broken/chapped/cut/irritated/scraped) skin, recently shaved areas of the skin, or sunburned skin. Doing any of these things may increase the chance of undesirable side effects.

Please always follow your medical provider's specific directions on how to use your Body CleanseRx.
