# What is the lip balm? 

The lip balm by Curology is designed to be effortless, with our deeply-moisturizing, truly vegan formula and radically simple, one-handed applicator. Crafted from nourishing oils and natural butters, the lip balm locks in lasting moisture, without the need for frequent reapplication.

There are 5 different flavors to choose from: 

*   Original (unflavored, classic)
*   Broad-Spectrum SPF 30(unflavored, 9.4% zinc oxide) 
    
*   Mint (cool, energizing, fresh)
    
*   Passion fruit (bright, surprising, tropical)   
      
    

### Who is the lip balm for?

The lip balm is for everyone. Crafted for all skin types by medical experts, the acne-friendly formula is made from nourishing, non-comedogenic butters and oils. If you have particularly sensitive skin, try our unflavored original lip balm. 

#### What are the ingredients in the lip balm?

Key ingredients: 

*   Shea butter - A plant-based butter that seals in moisture, softening and smoothing dry lips. 
    
*   Jojoba seed oil - A nourishing, antioxidant-rich oil that deeply moisturizes lips without clogging pores or leaving a greasy after-feel.
    
*   Carnauba wax - Derived from Brazilian palm trees, this moisturizing wax contributes to the lip balm’s silken, buttery texture and hydrated finish.

### What is the shelf life of the lip balm?

The shelf life of the lip balm is 3 years. 

### Is the lip balm customized like my formula?

Although the lip balm is not customized, it is dermatologist-designed to work with the rest of your Curology routine! 

### How do I use the lip balm?

Pull down on the slider with your thumb to open and apply generously to lips as needed. Swipe back up to securely close. 

### How do I purchase the lip balm and how much does it cost? 

Existing members: If you’re already subscribed to the large bottle of Custom Formula, you can update your subscription to include the lip balm for an additional $8 (tax will apply where applicable). We are excited to offer you new Curology products that best fit your skincare concerns!

### How much does the lip balm cost?

The lip balm will be an additional $8 for each shipment or every two months. Tax will apply where applicable\*\*.

### What size does it come in? 

### When you add it to your bi-monthly shipments, you will receive a 4 g / .14 oz applicator

### Will the lip balm worsen my acne or cause me to break out? 

Nope! The lip balm has been tested to be non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic, so you can count on it to be acne friendly.

Will the lip balm SPF 30 leave a white cast on my lips? 

Since our lip balm SPF 30 formula is all-mineral (using physical rather than chemical filters), it takes about a minute for the product to sink in! When applying, make sure to blend the lip balm well by gently pressing lips together until absorbed.

### Is this product eligible in the Curology Access Program?
