How do I fit HydroTretRx into my routine?

The most important thing is to follow your Curology provider’s instructions. For new patients, we typically recommend a fairly simple skincare routine, which might look something like this:

AM:

  • Wash with water or a gentle cleanser

  • Use a sunscreen or moisturizer with SPF

PM:

  • Wash with a gentle cleanser; wait until your face is completely dry

  • Apply a thin layer of the HydroTretRx formula onto your face/neck and leave on overnight

  • Use a separate moisturizer, if desired

Do I have to cut any ingredients when starting HydroTretRx

Yes, we do recommend simplifying your routine for a few weeks, as your skin adjusts to HydroTretRx. This will help reduce the risk of dryness and irritation.

For starters, we recommend pausing the use of:

  • AHA (e.g. glycolic acid or lactic acid)

  • BHA (e.g. salicylic acid)

  • Vitamin C

  • Retinols

  • Physical exfoliators (e.g. brushes and scrubs)

If you want to reintroduce these, use your best judgment and do so gradually, as tolerated.
