Curology's (new!) rich moisturizer

Double down on moisture with the latest member of Curology’s growing family of expert-designed skincare products: the rich moisturizer! Curology members will now have two moisturizers to choose from based on their unique skin type.

What is the rich moisturizer?

The rich moisturizer by Curology is a creamy, deeply hydrating moisturizer for dry or aging skin. Our dermatologists formulated this creamy moisturizer to work twice as hard: first, hydrating your skin, then keeping that moisture locked in. Keep your skin soft and protected all day (or night) long with 6 hydrating ingredients, including hyaluronic acid and shea butter.
Layer up as much as you’d like—the rich moisturizer is non-clogging, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic. Our dermatologists designed it to pair perfectly with your custom formula and Curology cleanser as part of the 3-step set, so you can get everything you need for happy, hydrated skin in one simple box.

How does the rich moisturizer fit into my routine?

AM: Apply the rich moisturizer after washing with the cleanser and patting your skin dry. The rich moisturizer is non-pore-clogging, so use the amount that makes your skin feel its best.
PM: Apply the rich moisturizer after applying your Curology customized cream, if you need the extra hydration. Your Curology cream is made with a lightly moisturizing base, but if you have tretinoin in your formula, your skin might crave a bit more hydration.

How much does the rich moisturizer cost?

The rich moisturizer is sold as part of our 3-step set, along with the cleanser and your custom formula, all for a total of $59.90 for a 2 month supply (plus tax where applicable). That comes down to just $29.95 per month. We work hard to keep costs low and quality high, because effective skincare shouldn’t have to break the bank.

How do I purchase the rich moisturizer?

The cleanser and rich moisturizer ship every 2 months as part of a 3-step Curology set, along with your custom formula. They are not available to be purchased separately.
For new members:
When signing up as a new member, you can choose between the moisturizer and rich moisturizer according to your skin’s unique needs.
For existing members:
If you’re already subscribed to the 3-step set, you can edit your set to include the rich moisturizer instead of the current moisturizer at no additional cost. If you’re subscribed to just the custom formula, you can upgrade to a 3-step set anytime.

Can the rich moisturizer be ordered separately?

Not at this time. We decided to put your entire routine in one box to make things easy!

Can I receive both moisturizers?

New members signing up for the Curology set will get to choose either the moisturizer or the rich moisturizer (not both—you only need one!). You can switch between the two whenever you want. If you’re already a subscriber, you can swap the moisturizer for the rich moisturizer if you’d like. If you love your current moisturizer, there’s no need to switch!

How are the rich moisturizer and current moisturizer different? How do I know which moisturizer to choose?

Both are great moisturizers designed by dermatologists to be hydrating and non-clogging.
The main differences between the rich moisturizer and moisturizer are the ingredients and the texture. While both moisturizers contain hyaluronic acid and glycerin, the rich moisturizer packs in some added hydration for aging or dry skin with a total of 6 moisturizing ingredients, including plant-based squalane, allantoin, and shea butter. Check out the key ingredients if you’re interested in learning more.
The moisturizer has a cloud-like, gel texture designed for those who prefer a cool, lightweight feel. The rich moisturizer has a thicker, creamier texture, so those with dry or aging skin may tend to prefer the rich moisturizer, while those with normal or oily skin may prefer the moisturizer. Still not sure which moisturizer is right for you? Check in with your Curology provider to see what they recommend.

Is the rich moisturizer customized, like Curology custom formulas?

Although the rich moisturizer isn’t customized for you by a dermatology provider like your custom formula, you do have the option to choose which of our moisturizers is best for your unique skin type. So we’d like to think that with the addition of the rich moisturizer, your Curology set is even more customizable!

Is the rich moisturizer non-comedogenic (non-pore-clogging)?

Yes! The rich moisturizer is non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, dye-free, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic. It’s designed to work alongside your cleanser and custom formula for one simple, essential daily routine.

What are the ingredients?

The rich moisturizer contains 6 hydrating ingredients
Hyaluronic acid adds moisture to your skin by binding water from the environment. Helps plump and hydrate skin, and may help reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Shea butter fills in tiny cracks in the skin, making your skin feel soft (and giving the rich moisturizer its creamy texture).
Aloe soothes, deeply moisturizes, and creates that glides-on-smooth feeling.
Glycerin hydrates, softens, and protects skin.
Squalane, a natural plant-based antioxidant, fights free radicals that can cause skin aging
Allantoin improves the skin’s moisture retention. Known for its soothing and anti-irritating properties, allantoin helps to heal wounds and stimulates the growth of healthy tissues.
