You should clean your face. And you should do it with something that doesn’t clog, strip skin, or contain irritants—obvious, right? But that can be surprisingly hard to find. That’s why our dermatologists set out to make a cleanser you can trust—simple, lightly foaming and non-clogging.
What is the cleanser?
The cleanser by Curology simply cleans your skin—and contains nothing extra. Made for all skin types, and especially loved by those with sensitive skin, the cleanser is gentle and non-stripping, with no scents or irritants.
How does the cleanser fit into my routine?
AM: Use the cleanser in the morning before the rest of your skincare routine.
PM: Use the cleanser to wash away the day’s dirt before applying your Curology custom formula, followed by a moisturizer.
Our dermatologists recommend cleansing your skin once in the morning and once again before bed! You can use either water or a non-clogging cleanser. The Curology cleanser is gentle and non-stripping, so you can use it twice a day with no fear of irritating or drying your skin.
How much does the cleanser cost?
The cleanser is sold as part of our cleanser & moisturizer set. Adding this to your subscription box costs just $20** more per shipment. If you’re a new member, your first box is free! Just cover $4.95 in shipping and handling (plus tax).
How do I purchase the cleanser?
The cleanser and moisturizer ship every 2 months if added to your subscription box, along with your custom formula. They are not available to be purchased separately.
Can the cleanser be ordered separately?
Not at this time. We decided to put your entire routine in one box to make things easy!
Is the cleanser non-comedogenic (non-pore-clogging)?
Yes! The cleanser is non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, dye-free, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic. It’s designed to work alongside your moisturizer and custom formula for one simple, essential daily routine.
Does the cleanser remove makeup?
No, the cleanser is not designed to remove make-up. We recommend removing any makeup before washing with the cleanser.
What if my Curology provider recommended an antimicrobial cleanser or soap?
Everyone’s skin is different, so it’s always best to follow your dermatology provider’s instructions. If your provider suggests using an antimicrobial cleanser or soap for some parts of your routine, then use the Curology cleanser only when you aren’t using the antimicrobial cleanser. No need to double up on cleansing! And as always, feel free to ask your provider if you have any questions. Our cleanser does not contain salicylic acid.
